The Wildlife Lake Irapetra The Lake at Irapetra situated on the huge Greek island of Crete southern Crete is a bit difficult to locate There were no signs pointing to this wildlife lake, which is split into two main lakes and on getting closer to the lakes, you will be able to spot this huge natural lake from the road leading down to it. The lake is huge as you can see from these photos! Plus I have given a link below to more photos of this lake in Irapetra. When we finally found the wildlife lake, it was teaming with birds and other natural water wildlife Howevers, the mud around the shores of the lake, were as dry as a bone Plus more photos of the well kept wildlife...
